About Battaglia, PA-C

In 2010 I graduated from the University of Colorado’s Physician Assistant program with a focus on child and adolescent health. Before PA school I attended the University of Colorado Boulder and graduated with honors in Philosophy and Psychology. I spent time before PA school publishing work on the genetics of aging and working in inpatient psychiatry, school based treatment programs, and residential treatment centers.

In addition I also worked as a climbing coach and guide. With coaching I discovered my passion for connecting with kids and helping them grow through the challenges of climbing. For the last 10 years I’ve worked full-time in adult and pediatric emergency rooms and have also worked part-time in outpatient psychiatry. I’ve studied extensively with The Institute for Integrative Psychiatry here in Boulder, which has nurtured my keen interest in nutrition, exercise, and mindfulness and their role in mental health.

In my free time I enjoy rock climbing, skiing, mountain biking, playing the guitar, meditating and spending time with my family.
